Before partnering with ION, Marc spent 6 years as General Manager of Vineyard Music Canada. While we could rattle off some other unimpressive work experience, the real reason he's involved in ION
is because of his desire to work together with people who are like-hearted and like-minded when it comes to worship. Not a worship leader or musician, Marc's heart has always been to create
opportunities for people to powerfully encounter God in worship.
Brian Doerksen - Partner & Board Member
His songs and worship leading are pretty well known in the Church. The author of Come Now Is The Time To Worship, Today, You Shine and Refiner's Fire among many, Brian really wants to see
worshipers encounter the father heart and husband heart of God. For many years Brian recorded with Vineyard Music and lately he's been doing the same with Integrity. Most recently he's been
really involved in planting a new church. Brian's married to Joyce and they have 6 children.
Andy Park - Partner & Board Member
Here's another worship leading, song writing veteran! Originally from the Los Angeles area, Andy is now into his second stint living in Canada where he is planting a new Vineyard church near
Vancouver. Andy has written some worship classics over the years including In The Secret (I Want To Know You), The River Is Here and Blessed Be The Name. He's also authored a book, To Know You
More, which is full of practical help for worship leaders. Andy and his wife Linda have lots of kids too - 8!
Dan Wilt - Partner
In so many ways, Dan is the inspiration behind ION. His relentless pursuit for relationship and dialog across the Church and the generations has formed much of what we're trying to walk out. He's
a songwriter, worship leader, teacher, preacher, author, poet, and so much more! Currently he's Director of the new Institute Of Contemporary & Emerging Worship Studies based in St Stephen,
NB Canada. Dan is married to Anita and they have 3 wonderful children.
David Fullerton - Board Member
When we thought about starting ION, it was a no-brainer that Dave would have to be involved. Besides the fact he's a great friend, he's also been around the Christian music industry for years.
Until recently he was in sales and marketing with the largest Christian music distributor in Canada. And now he's really having fun at this new job as a Mortgage Specialist with RBC. Dave and his
wife Lori have 2 beautiful children.
Steve Mitchinson - Board Member
Our UK import! Steve and his family moved over to this side of the Atlantic in 2005 and they say they love it here. When he's not leading worship or writing songs or surfing, Steve is a doctor.
He takes his role as Board Member very seriously, showing up early, staying late, and calling us to order when things get out of hand. That may be stretching it a bit but what we love about Steve
is that he brings wise insight. Steve is married to the incomparable Karen and they have 2 kids.
Bob Hughes - Finance Manager
What about Bob? He keeps us all in line. This guy knows everything about everything when it comes to non-profit organizations so when we come up with all our great ideas, we run them by him to
make sure we're not getting ourselves in trouble. The great thing about having Bob on board is that this is more than a job for him - he loves that we get to provide opportunities for people to
encounter God in worship. Bob, his wife Kelly and their 2 children recently moved to the east coast of Canada.
